The image behind the image once truly existed.
This work began as a photograph. Some time later it was digitally reinterpreted, layered with textures, and gradually transformed over several years. Yet despite all the changes, the original emotion still remains visible beneath the surface.
There are only a few kisses I remember clearly. Perhaps because the weather was beautiful, perhaps because the sea was nearby. Memory is always subjective. What once appeared as a simple photograph of a kissing couple slowly evolved into something more symbolic – a reflection on affection, intimacy, and the way memories change over time.
The image is available in several colour variations as well as in black and white.
