I usually carry a camera with me
Without it, I often feel as if I have missed something.
But why do I need a camera at all, when I have already seen the pictures with my own eyes?
Everything begins with light.
Light interacts with air, with shapes, and with textures.
Then comes perspective – even a small change in position can transform the entire image.
And finally there is the subject itself, which appears so perfect in front of my eyes.
I need the camera as a form of memory.
It allows me to return to the same moment later, under the same conditions, and perhaps to use the images in compositions.
It also gives me the chance to look forward to unique pictures and to free my imagination.
That is why photography
in itself is not the final goal, but often the beginning of my work.
Apart from a few creative settings made in camera, I use filters and effects mainly in post-processing.
Sometimes I add textures or even foreign elements, so that the final result moves away from the original photograph.
Although photography is essential to me, I have released only a few completely unedited images.
Photography is anything but a simple task
When I think about it, I think of the position of the sun, the quiet joy of observing, and the desire to capture the world in its many forms.
In most cases, the final image is then shaped further through digital processing.

Water rises from the sea,
carried into the sky, where it gathers into clouds and falls back to earth as rain – only to begin its journey again.
An endless cycle of transformation, movement and return.
But does water have a memory?
Perhaps it remembers the places it has touched, the light it has reflected, the skies it has crossed.
Water is full of mystery and an endless source of inspiration.
It has no fixed form, yet it takes on the shape of everything around it.

A long time ago I discovered my love of nature.
And in particular my special sympathy for
trees. They increase the attractiveness of their environment. Every single tree is different and it’s
at the same time both a nature company and a piece of art.

A small part of the story
The close-up perspective transforms an ordinary structural detail into something almost monumental. The rust, worn metal and layers of age become the visible traces of time. Every crack, bolt and corroded surface suggests a history that extends far beyond what the photograph can reveal.
The image therefore becomes a meditation on time and memory. The object itself may be old, but the photograph captures only one moment of its existence — a small part of a much longer story.
The strong contrast between light and shadow adds another layer. Some parts are clearly illuminated, while others disappear into darkness. This can be seen as a metaphor for history itself: we can see fragments, but never the whole story.
